Pros:
There's a really nice park with disc golf baskets in it.
There's a couple putt and approach holes that warm you up.
The shape on 3 is a really fun line to try and find.
Hole 6 is a pretty decent par 4.
If I lived close I would frequent this park. There's lots of room to practice there.
Cons:
The tee pads are barely adequate. They're very small and have gravel/dirt in them. I was a little hesitant to throw full on them.
They stuck all the holes in the middle of the open part of the park.
There appears to be a ton of room around this park and they used none of it.
There's a walking path that literally runs right down the middle of hole 6. Terrible placement.
Other Thoughts:
Massive opportunity here. Someone needs to get a hold of the park director ASAP and redesign this into a proper course.
Olson park seems really nice. It was quiet and had lots of nice views. There's a nice little stream that runs down the middle of it and lots of woods and hills that are just screaming for some discs to fly through them. This would be a really cool spot for a good disc golf course with it being so close to the airport.
I'll cross my fingers and hope for some justice in the near future. In the meantime I wouldn't plan on going out of my way to play there again
