Pros:
- Concrete tee pads are new, long and wide
- Some elevation in the form of dirt mounds
- Good scenery like most Utah courses
- The park has basketball, Tennis, and other activities as well
- Disc Golf only in this section of the park
- New baskets look incredible
- Variety of distances and a few par 4/5 holes here
Cons:
- Wide open, almost zero obstacles
- Boring, uninspiring design
- Tall sage brush and no landmarks makes finding discs challenging
- Dirt, weeds, rocks, holes in the ground make footing sketchy AF
- Tee signs are in yards, don't make me do math man!
Other Thoughts:
I'm sure there are people out there who love this type of course but I'm not one of them. I would recommend playing Tetons DGC nearby instead if you're like me and appreciate more elevation and obstacles. Courses like these where you walk up to one tee pad and see every basket on the course are a hard pass for me but as always YMMV.
