My 1st LA course is a really good one

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jan 5, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Excellent baskets, really love these DGA ones
- Good variety of distances
- Good variety of hole shape
- Excellent use of elevation
- Lots of trees and tight lines
- A few open, longer holes for variety
- Greens are fast and bald
- Bad shots results in bogeys or worse
- The area is quite beautiful and peaceful

Cons:

- Dirt pads leave a lot to be desired
- Navigation is rough without Udisc
- Little wooded posts says "frisbee golf" which is taboo

Other Thoughts:

This is a really well designed wooded course in NW LA. I played this in early January in the cold, pouring rain and still managed to have a good time. Highly recommend playing here if you live near Texarkana or are planning on driving through this part of LA.
