Pros:
Best Tee Pads I have ever played
Great tee signs
2 sets of baskets Short White or long blue
Decent flow, course was easy to follow
Plenty of parking
Cons:
not a lot to work with out here
Other Thoughts:
I played the Case Community park not all that long ago, thought it was a boring course with the same shot over and over again for many of the holes.
What a vast improvement this course is. Avery did an excellent job getting some verity out of an area there is not much to work with.
I must mention those tee pads again, not only are they HUGE, but they are turf and while I was playing in the rain, they were not slick at all.
The course has 2 sets of DiscGolfPark baskets, you have the white baskets for a shorter course and the Blue baskets set up for a longer course.
The course throws down along the river for the first couple of holes, then has a couple of holes under the bridges. then it works it's way back to the parking area.
Most of the course is wide open, but a good job was done designing the holes in the area with several tree's. There are some natural fairways here that were fully taken advantage of.
Would I play here again? Not a casual round, I like some of the other Tulsa area courses better. However this course was very playable in the rain. I could not believe there were other people enjoying the course too in the rain. I would play a tournament here, although the blue baskets would not fair well for my game. I would do better on the white baskets.
