Pros:
Has tee signs although #8 was laying on the ground
Decent DGA baskets
From very short to long holes.
Cons:
One little tree line I don't think is used very well.
LONG walk from basket 9 to the parking lot.
Other Thoughts:
Ok, you know something's up when the course is listed on DGCR and NOT on UDisc. I had no map and no idea if there was even a course here. But I was just across the Arkansas River playing the Newman course so it wasn't that far out of the way.
Pulled up behind the church and found the baskets in a field. I found a tee sign for hole one and threw to what I thought was the first hole. After that it was pretty easy to figure out. The next tee was usually pretty close to the basket.
This is a field that is not mowed often. You do have 2 holes in a sports field that does have nice grass. But some of the other baskets had grass growing up to the bottom on the basket (see pictures I uploaded)
The course does have a couple of easy ace runs, holes that are under 200ft with zero tree's in the way. I still missed them even after throwing a couple of discs at them.
The 2 holes over the sports field are the 2 longest holes.
The short line of tree's are really only used for one hole. Even this, its one of the ace run holes.
Would I play here again? Nope, no reason too. If you play ;here, you will have the course to yourself. Good place to practice with a new disc. I think the course is too far from the church to be used for a Youth Group and those long holes are tool long for kids.
That is why just the 1 star. It's not much of a course, it's a practice area.
