Pros:

Crosswinds Church DGC is a nine hole deal that wraps around the edges of the property starting by the northwest corner of the parking lot and playing south. It plays basically counter clockwise from there ending right by where it started. The course is mostly wide open but there are a few trees in play. Hole 1 has the most challenge in this regard with the basket tucked up in a little patch of pines. Hole 9 has some actual trees in the middle of the fairway too.

The baskets are White Dynamic Discs Patriots. These are all in great shape. Still seem new actually and they catch just fine. One basket and pin placement per hole.

The tees are really nice. A little on the shorter side compared to what you'd think of as average but much better than natural pads. The tees were all level and had great traction to them. No complaints with these things. One tee per hole.

There's a surprising amount of distance on this one actually. The holes range in length from 250' on hole one, the shortest hole, all the way up to 470' on hole four. There's only two holes under 300' on the whole course actually. So not a beginner course by any stretch. Good place to go if you want to stretch out the arm a little, which is kind of an area that's lacking a bit in the general area around Rochester.

Free to play and appears to be permanent. You'll only need to avoid playing when church is in session.

Cons:

The grass was pretty long in the fairways when I played. Not unplayable conditions by any means but definitely not ideal ones either. I'm not sure how often this place gets mowed but it can be a pain in the butt having to look for discs that land in the fairway.

There's a few spots where it's not real obvious where the next hole is. Mostly toward the end of the course. Long walks from 7 to 8 and 8 to 9.

Hole 8 plays perpendicular to the entrance road which isn't a great idea. Hole 9's basket is also a little too close to the parking lot for my liking.

Kind of a weird design for a church course lengthwise. Like I said above, this is the kind of course that's lacking in this area. It's just odd to see a church course with distances like this. Not a place that kids or beginners are going to enjoy or get into the game on. Especially with how open and windy it can get out there.

Other Thoughts:

This one was pretty good actually. Not my cup of tea coursewise. But it's got great baskets and tees and fits a niche that's severely lacking in the area. I've played a ton of church courses in my time and this one is in the upper echelon of these. Basically the polar opposite of Mercy Hill Church which is only a few minutes away. I can't really recommend this one unless you're going to be right there for whatever reason due to the monotonous feel but you can do a lot worse than this one too. Not bad but not real exciting. Worth a play at least once I'd say.

Pros:

+Nice baskets
+Tees are at least marked
+Nice, church grounds that appear to be well taken care of.
+Course should be playable at all times. I played during Sunday service and no parking got in the way. I felt welcome as a random dude playing disc golf. No dirty looks or anything.
+Shouldn't lose a disc here.
+Some rolling hills to keep things a little more interesting.
+Playable by beginners and beyond. Beginners will just take more shots on the longer holes. 3 holes over 400 and a good variety of length.

Cons:

-Natural tees. Hopefully they put some concrete in at some point.
-No signage beyond a hole number.
-Biggest con: very few trees on the whole course and most of the ones that are there are shorter coniferous trees that might never grow into anything tall enough. They should plant more fast growing trees now that will eventually add challenge and variety to this course. Or they could use the wooded area on the south side of the lot. I assume that it is theirs.
-Just throw big hyzers all day. It will be open and will probably be windy. Long hyzers with overstable discs will be your best bet. Not a lot of variety in throws required here.

Other Thoughts:

+I tried hard to like this course. It was just so open. Fine for field practice but overall, a very low fun factor for me.
+This course is quick to get to off the highway and can be a pretty quick play. Good for course baggers.
+Overall, I probably wouldn't stop here unless you are a big arm with low accuracy. You might enjoy it here.
+If they plant some fast growing trees, put concrete tees, and half-decent signs, then this could be a reasonable course.
+First tee is at the SW side of the parking lot then you throw towards the garage like building near the church.
