Pros:
I was lucky to play this course with a season'd local named Nick B. He showed me the good local lines, knew the way around, and generously lent me some discs to throw to fill in some gaps I'd left at home.
I really enjoyed some of the holes here at Cypress Point. There are some fun short technical holes, and some long bomber/strategic holes.
The first few and last few were my favorite holes by far. They were a little longer and more open.
Baskets were in great condition, but tees were pretty narrow.
The course was separate from the other park amenities, which took away all the pedestrian danger (except for one end of the park).
Cons:
The biggest con was the amount of "poke and pray" holes. Even the local I was with apologized for a few of them, because they managed to make what almost looked like open holes into tightly wooded, no fairway, difficulty. And the no-fairway part cannot be stressed enough. On multiple occasions you're just looking at dense palm trees.
The tee's were a little narrow but honestly I was ok with it, they were big enough and level. There were a couple blind water spots Nick warned me about upon approach. I would have definitely lost a disc if he hadn't.
Some of the fairways play into each other as well, or very close to other fairways, other tee's other baskets. We were the only people out there, but if any other group had been out there, it would've caused a problem in a few areas.
Other Thoughts:
The luck factor here is huge. There's just no way around it. If a local who's played dozens of times still doesn't know how to get through it and just gives up, it's not a great design. Luckily there are enough really good holes on this course to give you a fun round.
We also ran into some of the maintenance guys and got to talk about the history of the Park, and of the course, and they really loved it.
