Pros:

Dancing Yarrow is a venue that hosts live music and serves farm to fork pizzas on Saturdays in the summer apparently. There's also an 8 basket, 9 hole disc golf course here that is open to the public.

The baskets are blue Mach's of some kind it seemed. Mach V's if I had to guess. These were all in okay shape and caught well enough. Holes 7 and 9 share the same basket playing from different directions. One placement per hole.

The course is a mix of open and wooded holes. There are some kind of obstacles to deal with on every hole though at least (Also see cons).

Free to play and will never be busy as far as other disc golfers.

Cons:

Oh man, where to start?

Let's go with the design, or lack thereof. The experience starts off hilariously. Hole 1 is a 398' slightly uphill hole where the basket is blind from the tee. Your main obstacles are a bunch of tables and chairs that would be used for pizza nights.

Hole 2 has you throwing over some overgrown gardens or something to another basket that's blind from the tee. This one plays into an unmowed field with knee high grass. One of the better holes on the course actually. Just don't go t0o straight and long so as not to get tetanus from the rusted out old farm machinery tucked into the treeline.

Holes 3 through 5 play along a walking path/ATV trail that's lined with nettle and lots of other unpleasant and itchy plants. These holes play through an extremely narrow hallway and offer no realistic line to the basket even at their meager lengths. Fun!

Hole 6 is not great but is the best hole so I'll leave that one alone besides mentioning the squalor that abounds toward the first part of the hole. Decent hole in and of itself though.

Speaking of squalor, let's talk about hole 7!!! This one should be nominated for one of the worst holes ever imaged, much less installed. You tee off from the middle of an unmanaged field with waist to shoulder high grass and then proceed to throw over some gardens to another blind basket. A broke down red truck does offer an obstacle to the right of the tee at least. This hole throws over the road to the parking area as well. One of the worst holes I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

Holes 8 and 9 are OK. They share the same fairway and just play back and forth. Hole 8 doesn't really offer a good line off the tee but that same clump of trees does actually work as guardians for the approach to 9's pin.

No tees and there were exactly three tee "signs". These consist of skinny little logs/sticks with a # on them. These are available for all to enjoy on holes 1,2 and 9.

Lots of broken down machinery and just general disarray strewn about all over. Very unappealing looking property, like a rustic meth commune vibe kind of deal.

Completely unplayable without a Udisc map. Even with that vital tool it's still not that easy to navigate.

Other Thoughts:

This course should be avoided at all costs. I added it to here after spending the better part of the past week trying to get ahold of somebody to figure out if it was open to the public. It is, so I added it then promptly played it the next day. I apologize for this and don't wish this place on anyone else going forward. One of the worst I've played anywhere. I'm giving it a half star based on the fact that it does have 8 baskets. Play at your own risk.
