Designed for beginner to Intermediate level players depending on pin location. When all pins are short, the course plays very short but there are still some challenging holes. Many ash trees were removed at the time of installation and we hope to replace many with new trees to create more definition between holes again.
The first 4 holes are on rolling terrain in the tight woods. The next hole goes through what was all underbrush (that was cleared completely and mulched) so we left a few of the healthy species of trees but hope to add more in to define this fairway better. Then the following 4 holes finish in the "prairie". They are longer holes with some foliage still in play through smaller trees and shrubs as well as some wetland areas that should be considered OB (as well as a seasonal water feature). The final hole also acts as an island hole for more challenge and should be considered an "optional rule" for lower skill levels.
