Pros:
+Fitness Farm is a nine-hole course on some private land open to the public. It's a very nice area, and the course is very well kept up.
+The holes are fun for the most part. None are exactly wooded, although trees do make their presence felt. Hole 2 is a well put together hole with an inside and outside line. It ends on an elevated basket. Hole 4 is a 600+ foot bomber with some OB at the end. Hole 7 is a short, technical shot from the woods. Hole 8 was probably my favorite, a 475' backhand turnover/forehand hyzer par 4.
+There is a wide variety of distance here. The holes range from 190' to 620'. So, whether your taste is open bomber holes or shorter, more technical holes, this course has a good mix.
+The signage is great and the course flows well. There are good tee signs on every hole and directional signs when needed.
+Well maintained Dynamic Discs Veteran baskets and good, spacious concrete tees.
Cons:
-I think the biggest issue I had with this course was the lack of amenities. There are no bathrooms, no water, no benches (that I saw), no trash cans, etc. I get the no bathrooms and water part, since this is on private land, but some of the others would be nice.
-For the most part, safety is not an issue. However, if your shot goes long on hole 5, you had better have good insurance if you parked your car there, since there isn't much room in between the back of C1 and the parking lot.
Other Thoughts:
=With this being on private land, no glow golf here. It's off limits to the public from dusk to dawn.
=There is a walking trail here, but it's not a problem much.
=Lots of mandos here. I personally don't have much of an opinion one way or the other on them, but I know some do dislike them.
=The longer distances would make me wary of taking new disc golfers here.
=This is a quality niner for sure. It doesn't take long to play, so it's great for a quick stop if you're in the area.
