Pros:
+Every hole has some sort of obstacle, whether it be trees (usually), hills (first few only), or distance (hole 6).
+Great baskets
+Logical course layout, with only one medium-distance walk between basket #2 and tee #3.
+Course drains well to a nearby creek, so mud isn't usually an issue except maybe around #9's basket
+Hole six is definitely over 300 feet, would like to see distances measured
+Hole 3 is up a hill and slightly to the right, unable to see the basket from the tee
+Plenty of parking and restrooms on site
Cons:
-The first four holes are next to baseball diamonds; there was a game going on by hole 1 and 2, so we had to be cautious and really couldn't throw at one confidently, erring on the side of caution.
-The walking path and soccer fields make up hole 6's fairway, if there are soccer games going on, it may be unplayable
-Holes 6-9 are basically paralleling the walking path. Be VERY careful, I can see some joggers being hit at this course for sure.
-Every hole just plays for the most part straight ahead, no doglegs
-Holes 4, 7, and 8 are all very short, probably under 200 feet
-Poison Ivy everywhere, and ragweed abounds (for you allergy sufferers)
-Grass tees, with no maps (we had to climb the hill to see the pin on hole 3 to know where to throw)
Other Thoughts:
The red marker discs are hard to locate in the grass, making finding the next tee difficult if you haven't played it before. It's a fun course, making great use of existing old growth trees. I'd see taking someone here who's new to wooded courses but pretty much has some basic disc control down, especially if there are sporting events going on or joggers present.
There was a large tree down right in front of tee #9, it was from the storms last night, and I imagine it will be cleaned up very soon, but I thought I'd mention it.
