Nice little gem of a course 20 minutes from gorgeous beach in Wells, ME 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 11, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

Easy to find.
Benches at every tee, bins about every 2-3 holes.
Clear and very understandable Tee Signs!!!
Great usage of elevation changes etc.
Lots of Parking.
Only $6/round, $10 all day. I would have stayed all day if I had the time.
Looks like they are building a Pro Shop too!
Ropes marking OB on rock walls is a HUGE help.
Very nice Tees, I didn't slip once and push on my feet a lot.
Practice Putting basket.
Easy to follow even with out a map.
Great communication when I asked questions on their FB page.

Cons:

I couldn't find score cards?
Not too 'beginner' friendly with lots of narrow fairways/long holes(like 360'+ on two I think) even though thats a sort of theme here in Maine from what I've seen but I did love trying to shape shots through all those trees!

Other Thoughts:

If I lived in the area I think I would love to play this course at least once a month... at least!
Well worth a trip especially since it's only 20 minutes from Wells, ME which has gorgeous beaches with very nice waves crashing on the sand and rock formations you can climb on etc.

Has So Much Potential 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 14, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great scenery
Interesting artifacts on the course
Wooded holes
Not crowded
Nice layout
Old cemetery at Hole #2

Cons:

Wooded holes (some too tight for a shot)
Too pricey ($6)

Other Thoughts:

This is a beautiful course with a lot of potential. Some of the holes have too many trees, which make it impossible for any shot, and I love wooded courses. There are interesting farm artifacts and stone walls around the course. The layout is self-explanatory, no need for next tee signs. There was no one else there when we arrived in the morning and only a few others when we left. The $6 price is a bit too much for a course with no amenities (no pro shop, porta-potty). I've read that the owners are still working on the course and when completed, this will be one of the best. The address is 410 Fox Farm Rd, but the mailbox actually says 411 and there's a Hammond Farm sign. It's across from Larry's Garage.

Perfect Start for a new course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 27, 2019 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

The course is on a beautiful piece of property, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner in the parking lot and although he is not a disc golfer he was a great guy! Teepads are very well constructed and provided great grip while playing in the rain.

Cons:

The course is very tight and does not provide players with many opportunities to scramble if you go off the fairway.

Other Thoughts:

The course is still maturing and has amazing potential. I will certainly play this course any chance I get and recommend the course to players of all levels.
