Pros:

Hingiss Park DGC is a nine hole park style course that plays alongside a river that comes into play on hole three and technically hole two with a bad drive. There's some very minor elevation in play too but it's barely noticeable. The park is probably rarely ever to busy, especially as far as disc golf is concerned due to it's location.

The baskets are older Mach III's I believe. These are in solid shape still and catch pretty well still. They have small black number plates on the top that also have the the par on them. These are mounted nice and level and standard height. One basket and pin position per hole.

Concrete tees on each hole. Good sized for a course of this length. Plenty of grip and all in great shape still. One tee per hole.

The design is solid for the limited size of the park and it's basically disc golf exclusive. I mean, technically there's a horseshoe pit that can come into play on the drive for hole 9. It's not the 1920's anymore so this probably isn't usually a problem. There's enough trees to force you to at least shape a shot a little bit on each hole too. Not many, but no totally wide open holes either.

The distances are in line with most older park course like this one. The hole distance range from 196' up to 350'. Great beginner course but still fun enough for more experienced players to play some putter and mid golf.

Basic tee signs on each hole. These appear to have been upgraded in the last couple years from the old school DGA signs. They're basically the same thing, possibly a newer version of the same brand even. Hole #, par and distance and the simplest hole "map" imaginable. They do have next tee arrows too.

Cons:

Hole 3 is the signature hole for sure. 350 feet with OB right in the form of the river and a path on the left. That being said it's way to hard for the intended audience here. The fairway is really narrow and there's a real chance of losing a disc. It just doesn't fit in with the rest of the holes, not that the hole itself is bad. Just feels out of place.

The holes play really close to each other in spots. Again, it's probably rarely busy so it's most likely not an issue. It could be if there are others out there though.

Holes 4 and 5 are really close to neighboring private property.

Pretty redundant, with the exception of hole three. It is just a park niner though so you shouldn't be surprised. Just a lot (8) of the same feel in hole types.

Other Thoughts:

Worth a quick stop if you're in the area which is unlikely for most. It is a fun little course but there's just no sensible reason to go out of your way to play this one. Good for what it is and great for the locals. Pretty standard fare though.

Pros:

Concrete tees, decent baskets, and well groomed. Very suitable for beginning players.

Cons:

Hingiss Park is a beautiful city park, but the course is nothing to tell your friends about. Pretty much every hole is the exact same shot; 150' - 250' with a slight left or right fade at the end and a few trees along the way.

Other Thoughts:

Unless you're a first-timer or just looking for a boring course to play, don't stop here.
