Pros:
If you want to work on your ace count, this is a good place to start. Every hole is about 200 feet, give or take. I didn't throw anything but my putter, Buzz, and Mako. It was kind of fun to take target practice at the holes.
Decent park along the river with some nice shade. It's not completely wide open.
This is a good starter course, which is the intent.
Cons:
No real challenge here for any player who has been at it for awhile. There is the possibility of a lost disc in the river or in the thicket along the river if your drive gets away from you.
Other Thoughts:
Tee pads are pretty short, but you shouldn't need any run up. Not a bad place to work on your short game. This course is the complete opposite of Patterson Lake.
I'm glad to see a course catering to beginners, although it would be nice to see more intermediate courses in the Dickinson area.
