Pros:
+ Surprising layout - unexpected woods and basket placements based on first impression and map. The first few holes are just straight holes along the outside edge of an old multiuse park, and the uDisc map gives the impression that you'll just be working a counterclockwise circle. But starting with hole #5, the layout incorporates a surprising amount of elevation, places baskets on rocky outcroppings, and requires lines through woods
+ While the course is short and beginner friendly, it's not dull
Cons:
- No tees, the signage has illustrations that aren't very helpful, amd at least one stated distance is clearly wrong (if Hole #3 is 375 feet, then I'm 12 feet tall)
- A bit of wandering around to find a few of the later tees and baskets
Other Thoughts:
~ I used this as a warmup on the way to Wilcox, and I'm glad to have bagged it. It's a fun 9 that challenges you to hit your short lines, and to learn how to throw "soft" landings among rocky basket placements. There are a few natural opportunities for RH forehand throws
