Pros:
Minooka DGC is located in the newer looking Summit Park. Summit Park is not large. The brand new park does have restrooms, a picnic shelter, a playground and a cool water feature for children (and hot, sweaty disc golfers.)
The little 7 hole course has a very impressive course sign complete with map (It's always these tiny, simple little courses that have great maps and signage.). The tee signs are awesome. They're made out of some plastic composite material resembling wood. I think they will hold up to vandals but then again, this doesn't look like a neighborhood with vandals. The new baskets are DGA models with the red number on top. There are currently no tee pads but I wouldn't be surprised if they are in the works.
The hole distances are 175, 140, 185, 230, 170, 190 and 290, this definetly qualifies as ACE run central. Or as the close to perfect course to bring the newbie, girlfriend or kids to. It's also just a fun little throw to try and collect some ACEs. No looking for discs in the bushes or in the woods.
Cons:
I copied these from previous reviewer ElementZ.
These can be summed up easily as...
* Zero challenge
* No cement tees
* Only seven holes

Other Thoughts:
As per my usual, I love these simple, little short courses, if they're designed properly. They provide a service to our younger and less skilled players who can learn without the pressure of having to throw down tiny fairways with deep grass/nasty rough on the sides.
Or if you wish, just come here and chase ACEs for all your worth.
