A little flooded from the rain this morning, but overall in good shape.
This beautiful course is well maintained by the Park and Rec Department and the Seven Rivers Disc Golf Club members. The course flows through open and wooded areas in the park around the lagoon and next to the Mississippi River. The front 9 holes include tighter fairways and denser trees. The second 9 holes include wider fairways through less dense tree canopies. The back 9 holes follow along the Mississippi River and lagoon and offer some longer shots and more open fairways. There is a large parking lot available, portable restrooms and many garbage cans throughout the park. Concerns during the nicer months may be poison ivy and mosquitoes, so plan accordingly with bug spray and the knowledge of what poison ivy looks like. Pets are allowed if on a leash.
From west (MN); take Hwy 16 to La Crescent. At the signal (Hwy 14) turn east. Just across the Wisconsin border turn left into the park. 1st tee is in the 1st parking area on the right. From east (WI); take Hwy 14 west across the Blue Bridge. 2nd entrance into park.
