Pros:
Has a DD Vet basket
A couple of interesting shots
Cons:
Goes across other camp amenities.
No markings for most of the tee's. Some of the baskets to point towards the next basket and have a distance on them. However they are wrong in most cases (probably from the OG layout)
Other Thoughts:
This is a private summer camp course that should be for kids and maybe adults if they wish. If a group was playing Disc Golf, they would be throwing litterally over other things like fire pits, though a pavilion, over a giant chest set, and other stuff.
The course starts by a map of the camp next to the mess hall. Then it pretty much goes counter clockwise around the camp with hole 4 throwing back towards the gazebo over where most of the kids would be playing. Then it goes back around the outside edge of the camp till hole 9 which throws around a cabin and over the road to the one regulation basket on the course. (the rest of the baskets are homemade and smaller than regulation)
I found the owner, he was more than happy to let me play a round, was even impressed of how many courses I have played. He explained the layout to me and I went on my way. I was able to find a few of the tee markers, they were red cinder blocks in the ground.
I was throwing pretty good, I actually hit every putt on those junk baskets, even a circle 2 put found it's way into the chains. Then I got to hole 9, I threw a big hyzer over the cabin and road and landed 20ft from the DD Vet basket. I proceeded to miss that putt the HUGE basket after throwing to all the smaller ones.
Would I play here again? Not this set up. The owner said he wanted to buy a set of "regulation baskets" and redo the course on one side of the camp. (I assume he meant into the woods instead of through the camp) If it does get redesigned, I would play the new layout just to play it.
