Not too bad

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 3, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

-9 holes
-Baskets are in good shape
-Signs for each hole
-Easy to find off of main highway.

Cons:

-Short holes
-Buildings are too close. In a couple of them you won't get your disc back without great climbing skills or a ladder.
-Grass tee pads

Other Thoughts:

They made the most out of a small park. Some interesting old buildings at this park. It has a very old school feel. It is a good course to work on your midrange and putting.

Small town magic

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 13, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

Kiosk with course map
Good tee signs
New DD Vet Baskets
Good use of elevation
Good neighborhood course

Cons:

On the short side for most players
A couple of longer walks/poor course flow
A couple of spots to looks a disc with bad shots

Other Thoughts:

Anyone who reads my reviews knows I LOVE small town courses, specially in old parks. This park fits the bill of what I love playing.

This is a little pitch and putt course with some fun holes to throw.

Parking? Got no idea, there is some space next to the tennis court. Hole one is across the park road and is just a little chip shot up the hill.

Walk back to throw hole 2 the same direction. At least this one is though some tree's, still a short chip shot.

Hole 3 got me for a second. Walk down the hill, across the road and throw back up the hill across the road with the pool fence punishing a turnover.

Hole 4 throws down the hill across the park road just past a large tree. Nice turnover shot that I really enjoyed throwing. A bad shot could get lost in a fenced in area if you hyzer out.

Hole 5 actually uses a sidewalk and throws over a gravel park road with some deep grass rough directly past the basket. I mean don't throw right or past the basket or you are in waste deep grass looking for your disc.

Then you got hole 6, it's kind of a walk to the tee, throw back up the hill and plays as the longest hole on the course. I big hyzer over a fence would be a lost disc. But it would take a bad shot to do that.

Hole 7 is another uphill shot that is mostly open.

Hole's 8 and 9 are parallel, I am not a fan of walking back to throw again. On top of that, if you turn your disc over you are in a city street.

Anyways, the grass was well mowed, large tree's with plenty of shade on most of the course. Elevation as the park is on the side of a large hill. I enjoyed my quick round here.

Would I play here again? No, not a course you drive out of the way to play, however I do enjoy collecting these small town courses.

2 star's because it does have tee signs, good baskets and is a fun little course to play. It's probably more of a 1 1/2 stars for most players.
