Pros:
Lots of variety and great views. Several open shots, several tight and brushy holes. The layout is easy enough to follow, and the kegs are gratifying targets. The signage is pretty easy to follow, but I always suggest downloading the course map before playing.
Cons:
Some of the trails are a bit sketchy, and just like anywhere else in southeast you'll want dry footwear for most of the year. There is deep mud in the lower pit, so taking the short cut straight through it is never a good idea. Some of the brushy holes demand your attention, if you end up in the brush you'll have a tough time getting out.
Other Thoughts:
***THE CURRENT COURSE IS A FULL 18 HOLE LAYOUT ESTABLISHED IN 2016***
the old course if you have a dog, please keep it on a leash from holes 3-6. There are chickens and goats on a neighboring property by hole 5 who get constant harassment from disc golfer dogs.
There are no garbage cans on the course, so please pack out your trash.
