New bright yellow baskets that catch well. No map necessary although the one on this site is accurate. School grounds are well-kept. Easy access from the main road. Couple of 'fun' holes (#5 & #6 for me). Good tee signs (although the target basket is obvious anyway). They have added numbers to the baskets since Monocacy's review.

Mostly wide-open. Too many short holes (ace runs) for any replay value. As Monocacy notes, you can't play during any school or athletic activity. No tees but you just throw from next to the tee sign.

Pretty simple. No reason to replay unless you just want to get in a quick round of approach shots (or live local). Best to park near #1's tee as the walk back from #9's basket requires semi-circumnavigating the school anyway. There is a water fountain on the back of the school after you play #9.

The first tee is close to the parking lot and the grassy fairways are well mowed. Unfortunately, many of those grassy fairways are also athletic fields (see cons). Course design is reasonable for middle schoolers, and also serves as a quick pelt for course baggers.

A few holes included some features of interest. #2 is only 155' but requires a drive under or around overhanging tree branches. #5 is 200' but steeply downhill. #6 is a 367' "par 4" with a somewhat fast left-sloping green.

Yellow-banded baskets were mounted level and in great shape. Tee signs include distance, par, and a map of the hole showing nearby structures and natural features. The course is compact, with short walks between holes.

The main problem with this course is that multiple fairways conflict with athletic fields. For safety, those holes should not be played when fields are in use. For example, I skipped hole #3 to avoid youth baseball practice, because the fairway crosses the baseball field just behind the infield.

Another hazard that stood out was on #6 where the left side of the fairway is blind from the tee and slopes steeply downhill towards a soccer field. I could see noob hyzers raining down upon unsuspecting players and spectators.

A minor but annoying issue was that tee signs are set at inconsistent angles to the fairway. A couple of times I checked the GPS app to make sure I was throwing in the correct direction. It does not help that the baskets were not numbered when I played (edit).

Woods and rough border several fairways. Experienced players should have no problems, but new players may risk disc loss during the growing season.

After finishing the course there is a moderately long walk around the school and back to the parking lot.

With safety hazards galore, mostly flat and open holes, and mostly short distances, this was not a particularly enjoyable course to play. Bag if you must and then go play something more fun.

Grass tees are currently in good shape, and may remain so in dry weather if the course does not get much play.

If you care about course par, the three holes 297' or longer are listed as par 4. Also interesting is that #5 is a 200-foot downhill par 2.

As I tossed discs in the grass I gazed wistfully at the lovely forest bordering several holes. A few wooded holes would have made this course much more interesting.

If you see a picture of a bulldog, it is the school mascot and not a lost dog poster. Or so I learned.
