Pros:

Rieger Olsen DGC is a moderately wooded nine hole course. The course is completely flat but offers some decent shot shapes and some pretty tough holes actually.

The baskets are older Discatchers. These are a little faded but all are still in pretty good shape and catch just fine. One basket and pin placement per hole.

The tees are crushed gravel but are framed up with 2x4 boxes. Not the biggest but decent enough sized. There's long (blue) and short (red) tees on most of the holes but not all of them

Easy flow and straightforward navigation out here. The course starts and ends right by the little gravel lot and the walks between holes are all pretty short and obvious. You won't need a map out here.

Decent mix of hole lengths. They range from about 640' down to just under 200' from the blues and 420' all the way down to 120' from the reds.

Cons:

The tee pads have certainly seen better days. The frames are still in good shape but most of the gravel is long gone leaving a rutted bowl to tee from basically.

The tee signs are just metal ones with either a red or blue number for the hole. Better than nothing but still kind of useless. There are a few baskets that can't be seen from the tee so a map would nice. Not a huge deal but slightly annoying.

There were a few downed trees on hole 4. These looked pretty recent so I'm not going to knock the rating because of this. Hopefully they aren't there for too long.

Other Thoughts:

Decent little course. Much, much better than the Ponds at Linwood just down the road. This one is worth a visit if you're in the area. Nothing amazing but plenty fun enough.
