Pros:
Pros - There is a nice variety of holes in this 10 hole course. 1 and 2 are short technical shots to grab a quick couple of birdies. But late in the course (holes 6,8,9) are wide open shots to test your drivers. The course is compact and quick. You can play 2 rounds (20 holes) in less time than 18 at some of the other courses in the area. There's nice use of elevation as well.
Cons:
Tee signs are badly needed. From the first tee box you look down the hill at a basket but it's not the right basket. Basket 1 is tucked off to the right. If you have a guide that knows the course you'll be fine but signage is really needed. A couple of holes (4,5, maybe 3) need a clearer fairway. And, of course, it's 10 holes? Not 9. That being said I don't see a hole that needs to be removed.
Other Thoughts:
Teepads are dirt and uneven. Not good but not bad. There is sometimes a strong horse poo smell on the first half of the course. It's not consistently bad, but worth noting. Just understand that the course is still a work in progress and any criticism should be as constructive as possible to help shape the course into an awesome place to play.
