Pros:

Rush City DGC is a nine hole course that plays around the outside of the high school. The course starts by the northeast section of the parking lot and plays generally counterclockwise around the building. The course is totally flat but does have trees to contend with on almost every hole.

The baskets are brand new looking Mach V's. These are all in great shape and catch nicely. Pretty easy to spot since the course is mostly open lawn area. All were mounted level too. One basket and pin position per hole.

Wood pavers in the ground serve as the tees. Basic but gives you the intended spot to throw from and all the areas themselves were in good shape yet.

The tee signs are nice. 4x4 posts with a nice wood frame around the sign on each. The signs themselves are very good. Pretty detailed map that shows any of the clumps of trees as well as all the applicable OB. Each sign also has the hole #, par and distance. Everything you'd want from a sign. Really nice signs.

The course features a good mix of different distances for a nine hole school course. The par is 30 with distances ranging from 217' all the way up to 897'. Most of the holes are in the 250 to 350 range though but all over the place in that range at least.

The grounds were in good shape which should normally be the case being on school grounds. Free to play and permanent.

Cons:

The most obvious one was that hole 6's basket was missing. Not sure where it went or why but it was gone. Kind of unfortunate since it was on the par 5.

The course gets wet and seems to retain water for awhile in spots. Pretty squishy out there today but we have had an absurd amount of rain this year.

Pretty open for the most part. They used the trees about as good as possible but it's not an overly challenging layout. Great for high school aged kids though.

Not playable during school hours obviously.

Other Thoughts:

Pretty solid little school course. Definitely in the top percentile of the ones I've played as far as signage and equipment. The gameplay is pretty standard but fun enough. Worth a quick spin if you're in the area but nothing to go out of your way for.
