Everything is looking good.
Utilizing almost entirely wooded areas of the Chocolay Township and Silver Creek Church properties, this course dives deep into the woods to access the few small ridges and ravines in order to gain some elevation. No massive distance here, but plenty of need for accuracy on the tree lined fairways and risky greens.
Blue tees play pretty tight and technical with an average distance under 300'. SSA is about 46. Red tees offer a great skills challenge for newer players and stress fundamental elements of different drives, all with a good look at the pin. Alternate pin locations both add and subtract length depending on the hole (add about 600' total length in alternate positions).

Local Directions:
From US-41 south of Marquette: Turn west onto Silver Creek Road and drive for about 1/8 mile. The driveway to access the recreation area is on your right (shared with the church). Take the narrow drive next to the tennis courts, and follow it past all the ball fields to the far west end parking lot.
First tee in the woods on far side of the parking lot.
