Pros:
+Nice park with bathrooms, lots of parking, camping, fishing, lake, etc
+Tee signs are helpful enough. Navigation is pretty common sense.
+Each hole has a sponsor
Cons:
-Homemade baskets are bad. The gaps in the basket are large enough for discs to escape and they do most times they end up in the basket. The chains are also only attached at the top and don't stop disc well.
-Course plays too close to other activities on a few holes. I could hardly throw hole 6 due to cars on the right, kids running across the fairway, and people using the dock on the left. Hole 9 encourages dangerous shots due to the fact that it is blind and in the campground.
-Could easily lose a disc on many holes. Hole 6's basket is pretty much in the woods right in front of a large drop to the lake. Hole 7 has a narrow fairway cut out of the 4' tall grass and a very small landing area.
-Some holes are not shaped like they were designed for disc golf. Hole 9 especially.
-Natural tees.
-Could lose a disc for sure.
Other Thoughts:
-I wouldn't stop here. If you did, bring a lid. It will stay in the basket and will do less damage when you hit a car, camper, or person.
-Just spend a few more bucks and get some regulation baskets. Not everybody needs Mach Xs but these were ridiculous. Can't even catch a disc!
-There simply wasn't enough room in this park for a disc golf course.
