Pros:
+Nice big concrete tees. One of them is circular and is the tee for two holes.
+Nice DGA Baskets
+Great use of the available elevation. Plays on the side of a small valley.
+Some fun basket locations. 1 is blind. 2 is down a big hill. 4 is on top of a mound, 5 is on the side of the hill.
+Signs are informative enough for this course.
+Some ace run opportunities.
+Good chance for practice rounds or to teach new players.
Cons:
-Very open, I can't remember seeing a tree.
-Could be terribly windy here on the edge of the hills.
-Could lose a disc in the longer grasses/sage.
-Not a ton of variety in tee shot length, after a few rounds they might start to blend together.
Other Thoughts:
+Thanks to Scott Peterson Motors for putting in this course and dog park on their land.
+This course is ok. Not bad, not great. Lots of better courses in the Black Hills. The best is Spearfish DGC just up I-90. After that, Pageant Hill in Custer and Jackson Park in Rapid City.
+The designers used this land well. Not much more they could do with this land. Maybe a few trees could be planted to try and shape the future of this course.
