Pros:
This is a good course to get your confidence going. Lots of beautiful terrain, trees and a great course if you want to get out of the summer heat from the valley for a couple of hours. Now recently added 9 additional holes, to now an 18 hole course. Lgpizzaguy lives up in Heber and added stakes and Flags for the temporary 9 additional holes. I've talked to the Heber-Overgard Chamber of Commerce, and they are going to add the cones to the 9 additional holes for the back nine of the course.
Cons:
There aren't that many cons, but if I have to pick one, is the bark beetle is killing off some of the trees that are eventually going to get chopped down, which makes some of the holes challenging to begin with.
Other Thoughts:
There's a great breakfast place that I love to go to that's near by the course called, Baker's Ponderosa Cafe, so if you get an early start, I suggest going there for breakfast.
Bring your friends or newbies to the sport. This is the perfect course for that. The Heber-Overgard Chamber of Commerce is trying to promote more people to play the course and even promote leagues and tournaments someday, so stay tuned.
