Course has been closed for a year. There are plans to rebuild the course, but no timeframe yet.
This course is on the site of the first copper mine in Globe, AZ. The reclamation of the mine allowed a historic mining park to be built on site with mining artifacts, educational signage, hiking trails, picnic tables, the disc golf course, and more. Desert terrain, long pants suggested, bring water. Dogs must be leashed.
From Phoenix, go east on Highway 60 into Globe. From Tucson, go north on Highway 77, then west on 70 which will become Highway 60 into Globe. At De Marco's Italian Restaurant (1103 N. Broad St, AKA Highway 60), turn onto Murphy St. Cross railroad tracks and park entrance is on left.
