Pros:

The Ponds of Linwood is what appears to be a once solid nine hole course. There's a mix of wooded and a couple more open, prairie ones out here. There's a few ponds that come into play too, hence the name.

There's older Innova Discatchers on each hole. Pretty faded bands but still easy enough to spot. These all caught fine too. One basket and pin position per hole.

There's a few bridges over the creek and marshy areas which makes traversing the course much simpler. There's also a number of huge benches throughout the course. Port o potty and garbage and recycling bins by the parking lot.

Tee signs on each hole. These are the old DGC ones so they're pretty basic but serviceable. These at least get you to the intended tee location.

Cons:

This course was a mess. Completely overgrown and borderline unplayable. The grass by the tee on hole 6 was about six feet tall so I wasn't able to actually throw from the actual pad. Hole 7 had no reasonable gap with the brush constricting the fairway. Hole 8 was laughable. Literally no line whatsoever. The fairway, which you can't reach anyway, was a small trail about as wide as a hallway. I have no idea where the basket for hole 9 was but you'd have to throw out over the road if it's where I think it was. I gave up by that point.

The rough is nasty and itchy. Very real chance of losing a disc out here. There were a few areas that looked to be swampy but I wasn't able to tell without walking into there. Just a ton of areas where you're likely to lose a disc or at least spend a bunch of time searching.

The tees are natural so obviously not the best either.

The baskets are in pretty rough shape. They still catch alright but they're very faded and have rusty chains. The ones you can find at least.

Other Thoughts:

This course was awful. I wasn't expecting much to begin with but I was shocked how bad it was. It looks like it was actually a pretty fun course back in the day. The days of any sort of maintenance are long go though. I'd avoid this one at all costs.
