Pros:
One of best courses I've played in the layout of the course with the terrain forcing a variety of challenging shots, without favoring backhand or forehand. Each hole is unique and non-repetative. The directions on the scorecard provided make great sense when standing there...never spent more than 30 sec to find next tee pad or hole location...even blind holes where clear on where to aim, with painted rocks or tall posts put up that we're visible
Cons:
Would be nice to have signs with map of each hole instead of reading instructions off the paper, but each hole is labeled with distance at least....would probably give a 4 rating due to lack of detailed signs other than last reviewer gave a 1 rating and it is in no way close to that....had none of the troubles that he mentioned even though I played it the first time by myself as well. Not a beginner course, but you do not need to be expert either.
Other Thoughts:
Terrain is beautiful and natural had no problem traversing the course in basic running shoes despite having ACL surgery 3 months previous...plenty of trails leading from one spot to the next. The natural tee pads to me would not have been much better with cement...weren't sandy or rocky where i felt unstable, best natural surface I've ever teed off of...only one hole was slightly rough tee pad, and even then not bad.
