Pros:
Small course with a variety of holes that allows for all skill levels to enjoy. Land around the Community Center is well kept at all times of the year.
Cons:
Wind will be the enemy of this course for beginners, especially on the holes near the water.
Other Thoughts:
Course plays around the Community Center, in a park-like setting. All the holes are short, basic shots of varying difficulty. Hole 1 plays from the entrance area towards the right side of the playground, so use caution, and hole 6 plays back towards the same area later on. Holes 2 thru 5 are the more technical holes, short but needing precision. Hole 5 is played parallel to the water and a path, and with the addition of wind it is a tricky shot. Hole 6 plays away from the water, back towards the play area, so look ahead. Holes 7 thru 9 play from the backside of the community center back towards the water, with no obstructions, but don't go long! Wind obviously will be a deciding factor in the difficulty of this course, due to it's location. Overall, this a great little course, in a location (Ocean Shores) of high-demand real estate, and deserves to be judged accordingly. I'm giving it 3 rating because it's a good, solid, small course that is well kept, and takes advantage of some of the best parts of only a couple of acres of land.
