Treehouses and Disc Golf all in one place!

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 16, 2024 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

First I have to say, being able to rent and wake up in an incredible treehouse and just walk to the first tee pad is really awesome! And it's very pet friendly! The owners are incredible people too!- so nice! They've built a great challenging 9 hole course and are in works of finishing 10-18 at time of this review. Lots of elevation change. Holes 1 &2 are basically wide open, and hole 9 plays thru woods into the open. Rest are moderate to heavily wooded. Caters well to accuracy over distance. From what I could tell, the back nine should balance the course nicely when it's finished. Our stay in the DreamWeaver treehouse was so neat and awesome! Blackberries tasted great 👌

Cons:

Typical cons with wooded courses. Negates advantage of big arms. Few longer holes with some tight lines thru trees will force players to layup & focus on shot selection. Many of the surrounding woods are really thick. Although it was pretty easy to navigate with UDisc, it could use some directional signs between holes. Tee pads are turf mats and may feel short for big wind ups. Cellular service is very limited (1 bar).. and Watch out for the Black Berries on 9.

Other Thoughts:

Highly recommend everyone to go stay in a Treehouse because they are coool! Besides the fact that your 15 mins to downtown McCaysville or Ocoee Whitewater Center.. you can walk out your door and to first hole in 3 mins! I also got to play 2 of the future back nine and see a few others setup with temp baskets. The back nine is going to be just as good if not better (at least more forgiving I think) than the front. Sounds like they should be ready for play sometime in August 2024. Every avid disc golfer should do themselves a favor and check this place out!
