Pros:
- Concrete Tees
- Signage includes par and distance.
- Restrooms on site
- Benches on most Tees
- Trash cans in park
Cons:
- Very short
- Wind can be an issue
- Repetitive straight line shots
- Multiple Tees were confusing
Other Thoughts:
- Watrous DGC is a typical 5 acre neighborhood lot that was turned into a DG Park. Good use of a vacant piece of land.
- The course is very short, but almost every Tee has one of the nicest benches I've seen in a park, and they all sit on their own concrete pad next to the Tee. It was odd to see so many benches from the road.
- We played with 30mph winds which did add some challenge, but overall the shots are straightforward and not very challenging.
- Good Putt and Approach practice course.
- There are multiple concrete pads around. They could possibly be planning on multiple Tees in the future.
- Good little course for beginners or if you live in the neighborhood, but not something to go out of your way to play. If you're a bagger though, this one is easy to get on your way back from Sterling.
