All restrooms are locked for the season. #16 is in the long pin (576’) overlapping with #17’s fairway. The reservoir is VERY low.
All baskets, pads and signs are in good shape. Leaf cover can make it easy to lose a disc in places. Course plays well.
Winchester City Park Disc Golf Course was one of the very first disc golf courses installed in Tennessee. The original 9-hole course was installed in 1979 and Wham-O Frisbees were used exclusively for years until modern golf discs were developed.
The course was redesigned in 2015 and expanded to 19 holes. The fairways are a good mix of open, partly wooded and wooded fairways. The park is well manicured and offers pavilions, several restrooms and is set beside Tims Ford Lake.
From the Square in Winchester, 1.5 miles north on North High St. to the park on the right (after the bridge). Boat ramp/softball fields on the left. 1st tee and disc golf parking across from fields on the right side of the highway.
