Yep; Love my Hatchets! Perfect for my ~300' noodle arm.
Have 3 in the cart: 171g VIP, 171g TP Burst and 166g TP. All my understable Fairway needs covered...
If you are interested in some sweet baseline, I recommend the Retro Moonshine Daggers that are available now.
I have a few of (last year's) 2018 Masters World Championships Retro Moonshine Daggers that are my primary putters: Slightly softer than the Zero Hard with better tackiness and grip...
Nice! And if you don't have a (slightly) OS midrange, I highly recommend the Pine. When beat-in, it behaves like a fresh VIP Warship only much better in the wind...
aphilso1 speaks the truth!
I have both the VIP and TP Hatchet in my bag. The VIP is nice for turnovers that pan back at the end while the TP is perfect for turnover lines that do not come back at all.
I also bag a VIP Tursas for slower midrange turnovers and a beat-up GL Maul for extreme...
This is precisely my strategy: Fuzion Warden for straight with a (beat) Prime Warden for understable and floaty. And add in some Suspects (Fuzion and Prime) for more stable duties, both FH and BH.
I prefer the consistent feel of using the same molds in different plastics to achieve the desired...
Yep, I bag the Hatchet 100% of the time. As a LHBH player with a utility-only FH, the Hatchet is an essential tool for all the left turning fairways I encounter... :D
Agreed. Excellent analysis!
I throw 166g BioFuzion Getaways as OS complements to 166g BioFuzion Escapes. Once the Getaway beats in, it flies very much like an "Escape Pro", straight with a solid fade. Keep a Felon like (low glide) disc for the wind, cause the Getaway glides so nice...
I did a shootout between the Maverick and Maul for the turnover disc in my bag. I found the Maverick to be about the same speed with less glide, less turn and more fade than the Maul.
IMO, the Maul is more of a "finesse" fairway that will turn and hold an anhyzer all the way to the ground...
You're welcome!
Fuzion Wardens are my neutral to US throwing putter of choice. I tried the aforementioned Marshal, Shield and Harp for the OS complement but didn't really click with any of them. Settled on the Suspect because it acts like an OS putter with a fan grip and a slower OS midrange...
The Marshal feels very similar to the Warden, is nicely overstable and available in baseline and premium plastics. The Shield is just a touch shallower and depending on the plastic can be quite overstable.
If you like throwing your putters FH, then the Harp is a solid overstable workhorse. Flat...
I have been playing for 5+ years. My bag has evolved over time from a ground-up philosophy shaped by the courses that I play routinely and tempered by my (slowly) increasing skillset.
Started with a neutral Driver, Midrange and Putter: Escape, Warship and Warden. Found myself off the fairway...
