Round notes:Complete reversal from the previous front nine which saw 3 birdies (but two unfortunate bogies). Shot even on the back nine again with consecutive birdies on 13 and 14 which was great. Lost the plot on 15 with an easy par putt miss though which is a bummer. Overall, putting was shaky all morning but mostly came through when it was needed.

Round notes:Another beautiful morning in Eagle almost ruined by a horrible start and a disc in the water. Didn't feel good at all on the front nine and couldn't make a shot to save my life. It was all capped off by just barely losing my Shark in the river on 10. Went about a foot too long on the approach and it rolled off the shore. That was the turning point though, as the rest of the back nine was spectacular, especially hitting the base of the pole and parking my drive 2 feet away on 16.

Round notes:Got out early with Lenny for another match play round. Nothing really worked today, felt like my head was everywhere but on the game. Lots of forced shots, leading to bad turnovers even on short approach shots. Definitely a letdown after the great recent rounds. Ended up losing 4-2 which isn't that bad but it was still a crap round scorewise. Managed to stop the bleeding on the back nine but still had some stupid mistakes including going into the water on 18.

Round notes:Second verse, better than the first. If you would have told me that I'd birdie 16 twice in one day I would have laughed you out of the room. But it happened, and this time I parked it. Had 5 tee shots land within 10 feet, and made the easy birdie putts. Only two blemishes were the usual suspects 7 and 10 due to off line upshots (got the three on 2 which is always nice). I was surprised when I added up the score and saw how far under I was. The round just cruised along and I crushed it. Awesome.

Round notes:Absolutely gorgeous morning. Sunny, cool, windless, perfect. Felt a little rough physically to start out but once the blood started flowing, things started happening. Drives and approaches were alright, but putting was ungodly today. Made at least 6 or 7 40+ foot spin putts, and they all seemed effortless. It was a run of form I had never had before and it felt good. A birdie on 16 (with one of those ridiculous putts) was the icing on the cake. Great start to the day.

Round notes:Took Matt out for his first round ever (Jessie and Nick played as well). Unfortunately for him, a lot of the pins had been moved to the longs AND there was a pretty hearty wind on most of the open holes. 6 was especially difficult now being over the hill and extra long not to mention the added bonus of vegetation growing in making finding your disc extra difficult. Had an excellent round considering the difficulty of the course, especially putting which was easy the most consistent and impressive ever. They were going in with ease. Had a crazy ace run on 12 with a gorgeous turnover shot that was only stopped at the last minute when it nicked a pine 5 feet from the basket.

Round notes:Felt so good and had time after the first round so I played two. Pretty similar to the first save for the meltdown on 15 when my approach went into the river ( I got it back). Really starting to figure out the ideal line on 17 as evidenced by the rare birdie there. Really need to shore things up on the long 2, 7 and 10 and start paring those consistently.

Round notes:Got up early in a successful attempt to avoid the chronic afternoon wind. It was much colder in the morning but that I could deal with. I always feel great during morning rounds. There's just something about playing at sunrise before most people are awake that makes the round so much more relaxing. Shot well enough, had some silly mistakes but can't complain.

Round notes:Played with Lenny for his first round at Eagle on a predictably windy but very nice day. Decided on match play for the format which, when combined with my knowledge of the course and the relentless win, gave me a decent advantage. Ended up winning 6-2 with a big finish to seal it. Having someone to compete with aside from the wind was a big help and made concentration and shot selection a bigger priority. Had a great time and can't wait to keep going head to head over the rest of the summer.

Round notes:Probably the strongest wind I've played in yet. Almost took the disc out of my hands on reach backs a few times. Made putting wholly unpredictable and miserable. Managed to suck it up and have a decent back nine to salvage the round.
