I think he meant even if it doesn't glide like a Kite it still has a floatyness to it? Clearly they are not a lid like disc golf disc.
I like reading all these lid threads. They never clicked with me and I'll probably never bag one. Still cool though
My good friend is a Buzzz addict so I've thrown plenty of his...CryZtal tends to be more understable. The rest were all very similar in any premium plastic (FLX, ESP, Z, BigZ, etc)
Innova G-Star Hydra
In the description it says that this disc floats, yet they're 170+ grams and G-Star plastic...why do none of their heavier discs (or G-Star) in any other mold not float?
I'm having trouble finding Cannons below 168 and I want to try them. Worlds are much easier to acquire in lighter weights but is a bit shallow for my large hands...is there any place to get them light? Did Legacy make any under 165? Thanks
That's not even close to "The disc is directly under the basket and is the definition of parked." and you know it. Make a relevant comparison next time.
Breakers have a slightly larger rim width, slightly smaller inside diameter, and are slightly lower profile. All features of flying like a brick (overstable). What I'm trying to say is yes that's a common result between the molds.
I like both molds btw...saying brick wasn't a bad thing!
Whatever mold you choose, stick with firm plastics. The softer the plastic the quicker it will slow down. Softer plastic will also be more susceptible to obstacles and may not roll right over a branch or root for instance.
The very right edge of the chains. I picked link but I guess it's more "links" plural for me. I noticed I putt slightly left of my aim frequently so I adjusted my aim - it's been treating me well for the past 2-3 years.
Why would you call the Starfire inferior, let alone "obviously" inferior? They're a damn good mold and anyone who has known the market for a decade or more will agree with me.
PD > Starfire I understand the argument. The Thunderbird hasn't even been out for a year.
