Spinning your hips with weight still on back leg vs shifting the load from back leg to front leg and allowing your hips to pivot.

OOOh, that makes sense.
Why would you do that?

I teach people to engage the hips with a proper plant.

So, were really looking at "Throwing" the hips, vs driving the hips.

Alright so not to encourage the thread drift that resolved, but I saw this last night and had to share. Uli reminiscing about his old hop BH form in the Jomez practice round. He kinda jokingly does it halfway, then ends up throwing a better shot than his real drive with the hop after not doing it for 10 years. I think he did it once more in the round to good effect too. Entertaining watch either way.
