For my birthday my GF made me some special custom discs and I thought I'd share. I love DG and old Playboy stuff, so she combined the two into some really great discs using some amazing talent.

For those curious, these aren't dyes, she drew them using Copic markers. It's a DX sidewinder and a medium Warlock. I think they're gonna be showers, not throwers, so on to the wall they go. I doubt the markers would hold up the same way regular dye would during play. If they got wet the images would probably smear. :\

I've been lurking here so long I figured it was time I shared something and I thought these were cool enough that someone would find them interesting. :hfive:

nice. and it isn't in distaste. a good image of woman. what was the plastic. and did she acetone or find blanks. and if so, where?

The discs started life as a regular old DX Sidewinder and a Medium Warlock. She acetoned them, took a drywall block to the top to remove the ridges from the stamping process, and then finished it off with just a sctotch brite pad in the sink to take off any loose bits. She said the discs were similar to working on Mylar and the markers behaved a little like watercolors, which was unexpected.
