I doubt many people would be acing a hole with a dx 150 shark.

It's an easy to throw midrange, it sounds like the perfect disc for an ace. Hitting an ace doesn't require special equipment or skills. It only requires you to be able to throw far enough to get to the basket. There are plenty of holes where even a newer player can have an ace run with a 150g DX Shark. Here's a perfect example:
