What type/weight of chain is best for a basket?

stainless med. duty which generally is 1/8" diameter.

Too light and you need more of them while too heavy makes the chains not catch a putt being the discs weight under 180g -- they cant push through and thick chains will even spit a disc back out.

Thanks! The best basket I've ever seen was a discatcher with 14 pair of chains. And the chains were not smooth like most baskets but like a very small grain sandpaper type covering which caught the disc really well - what is that type of chain called?

Innova std chain is a 2/0 straight link chain. They get theirs hot dip galvanized.

I used 3/16 welded chain for mine.
