I realize this thread is a little old, but thought I would post my experience with these targets.
I purchased 3 of these targets for the current price of 3 @ $137 (1 = $48, 9 = $367).
I have had them for about 1.5 months.
The targets are actually well made, and best of all very portable.
The "poles" are all made out what looks like fiber glass tent pole material, with shock cord running
through them to keep the poles into their slots.
There is one aluminum tube used to add height to the vertical pole.
The target does break down to a nice size and comes in a cloth bag.
I got the UV glow chains on mine and they work great for night throwing.
They stand up fine using the included stake.
Not really any part that i notice on them that would rust if got wet.
I have been using mine mostly as temporary targets on my property as I test out hole layouts for a
home course. Also use it for putting and target practice.
They make a bit of a sound when hit, but nothing as loud as a metal basket.
The target can spin around its axis, so you can visibly see the chains/target move.
I also packed the 3 targets on my motorcycle for a 3 day camping trip in KY. setup a 6 tee, 3 basket course in the woods by our camp site and had alot of fun. I definitely could not have done that with
an Instep or other "portable" basket.
All in All, I think i got my moneys worth with these targets. They met my needs for true portability.
I can provide more details like measurements and such if anyone wants the information.
