OK so title pretty much says it all. I've brought the ladyfriend out a couple times recently to play and she's really enjoyed it and wants to start getting more into the sport. She's only been throwing out of my bag so far and of that just my mids/putters which are all essentially DX plastic (I have a glow magic, but everything else is baseline until my fairways).
I really want to get her a good disc to start with that she can actually call hers. She has a decent arm, can get the mids out around 150ish if she gets it right.
Discs I've been considering include
Cyote: Little US, can use as a putter
Kite: Seems like it would be the classic starter disc for smaller arm types
Classic Roc: Right between putter and mid
Buzz: Can be a main disc basically forever
Comet: All around goodness, teaches well
Mako: Can do anything with it, holds whatever line you give
Tangent: Quite US, MVP just plain looks cool so might get her interested
If anyone has taught someone without much sports background/learned to play without much arm at first, what disc helped them/you learn the most and which one really got you hooked on discing?
