Driver thoughts...

Most people will say step up at a certain distance. I'd stay step up at a certain consistency. If you've got 10 teebird throws, and you put them all within a 10' circle of one another at full power, then you can probably rip a faster driver further.

That's not to say, for example, that you find this to be the case and you move up speeds, that you won't then AGAIN improve your distance with the 'bird. The point is that faster drivers need 2 things to maximize their potential - to get "up to speed" and more precise nose angle releases. The sharper the rim the less forgiving it is on nose angle.

Once you develop consistent distance and accuracy with fairways, regardless of the number of feet (within reason obviously...), you will be at a point with your release that you can handle a less forgiving disc and add distance to your game.
