how do i send messages?

i sent a msg to someone but it i dont have a sent msg in my file folder, im sure it has something to do with my post count, figured that it would say something about that in the newbie forum sticky

Sent messages aren't automatically saved unless you check off the option on the send message page or you can also set the option in your User CP to always save messages.
