I'm using the McPro Aviar as my putter right now, and I really like it. However, it tends to get a bit slippery when it's raining. A friend of mine is using a Glow Aviar for putting, and to me it seems like it's the same mold, just different plastic. Is this correct? If so, I'm considering to buy one for those rainy days.

Yes the glow aviar is a bit tackier than the McPros. The McPros are a bit stiffer, though, so if your putting style benefits from stiffness, I wouldn't switch. I would just keep a towel with me and try and keep my McPro as dry as possible.

But its always a good idea to experiment with different plastics. I think you should get one just to try and see if it helps.

The glow DX, DX and McPro are all beadless aviars. That is, no bead on the bottom of the rim of the disc.
