[MVP] MVP Inertia Distance Driver

Tested out a 170g Proton Inertia today. Really similar flight patterns from the Neutron. MVP did a good job getting them to be fairly identical. The only differences I was seeing was mid flight. Since it was a new Proton disc, I'm guessing I need to dent it up a bit more lateral movement in that part of the flight. It had some, don't get me wrong but not as much as my Neutrons. It was really nice for low ceiling throws I was making. During the anhyzer portion of field practice, it fought out of the anny a bit more as well.

Overall, not too bad. I prefer Neutron over Proton all day any day but this disc seemed to pack just as much glide as the Neutron. It fought a bit harder at the end of it's flight as well. I just need to throw some rounds with it.

I like my first initial throws, even with bad OAT it still pulled out of the turn to land flat. Man I need to work on my form BAD. Like others have said it seems to be nearly identical in the initial flight, but fades more as the LSS kicks in.

Just in time for me to come back around on the Inertia the proton comes out. At first test I didn't find too much difference on flights. Will take some more checking. The main difference I do notice is the grip. The Proton and Nuetron do grip differently, at least in the conditions I was playing in which was about 77 and humid. The Nuetron for me, asks for a almost counter grip, where my thumb pushes one way while my fingers the other. The Proton seemed to just respond to more of a clamp. Can't say exactly why, and the difference wasn't that drastic, but I was noticing a subtle difference.

:D I think I'm in love...... Mmmm gummy proton inertia. Is this intentional? These are certainly a different blend of proton than my eclipse volt, right?

I wouldn't quite go as far as to say they are gummy but definitely much more so than older proton plastic-- similar change to that of the neutron which was very hard in some cases. Whatever they have done its definately added little pliability and tackiness like you see in the soft proton which are truly more of a gummy disc.

I believe that "experimental" tooled casting was for something totally different as well b/c its for a hot-stamp and these say nadaaaaa.

I threw my friends sparkle 175g. It seems to be a tad more beefy than mine but It could just be operator error, lol.

no idea at that distance. at about 380' the protons are a touch faster flying than the neutrons. Its hard to explain b/c its not more overstable really.

parting lines on the protons match exactly to the neutrons-- no difference in dome and the proton plastic feels great!

time to go throw them now'

Well... didn't have anything but good throws with the proton interia. Threw it the first drive of the day and received props from those waiting at the tee in awe'

Its pretty much the same disc but im just going to say that it flies a little faster so you can put a little more into it and the LSS might be a hair harder. I have a video where I threw them back to back and the proton faded out (very straight) at the end of the flight and glided way down the hill over the crest of the fairway while the neutron held off tracking to the right a little more and landing shorter.

VERY happy with the protons and the plastic feels great.

Flew great. I feel like they have a little more hang time. The sparkle blues were a nice surprise!

I'll have some Winthrop footage uploaded late, late tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

got to throw a 172g proton inertia today.

first off, sick stamp.

second off, definitely understable. turned and burned on me. my fault; i tried to drive it like a destroyer. should've known better and given it a lot of height. i only got to throw it once, but i could immediately see there is a huuuuuuuuge gap between this and the tesla. i think that despite the large gap, these are two molds that complement each other very well. the tesla is the teebird, the inertia is the leopard if you wanna use an analogy.

i will say though, that i noticed that most people that were hyped about the proton inertia had to acquire a taste for the disc when the neutron ones came out. i think we all found it too understable at first but when you get to know it and how to throw it has massive potential. i usually hyzerflip mine and it flies dead straight forever.

Been throwing my P Inertia this weekend on golf lines and I'm really liking it. Had some mega distance bombs but also sme great straighter controlled lines. It's relatively understable but you can get some killer action on hyzer flip lines. Big fan of this mold in the hand and in the air. Already cemented itself in my US distance driver slot.

What do people like more? Proton or Neutron? I enjoy them both but not enough to nag them. Just no extra distance for me compared to the Volt, Shock, or Amp.

I've only thrown the P but I prefer this class to the speed 9s bc the handfeel is more comfortable. The volt has got to be one of the most shallow drivers I've felt.

I really enjoy the speed 9 class. I don't know what speed these drivers are but I get no added distance. I can't throw the Motion at all though. I enjoy the Neutron Inertia and Neutron Impulse though. Fun to play with.

I've really been enjoying the inertia so far. It can't touch my terns in distance but the control is fantastic. Incredibly fun to throw as well.

How do these fly in lighter weights and in neutron plastic?

I have some 155 Neutrons that are dead perfect neutral for me. By neutral I mean just a hint of turn followed by a hint of fade to generally land right on the center line. I max out at 300ft with Terns. Bigger arms will likely have more turn of course.

^yep. 150's/low 160's are a little too light for what I like. Throwable by all means but definitely easier to get up to speed. I like to roll inertias and the light ones are not good for that at all.
