Looks like 15 mids/putters comfortably couple discs in each side putter type pocket, few more in the vertical quivers. Looks nice. Wonder how rigid the sides are at the top? If theyre not flimsy i think it would be a very nice bag

Good looking design. Maybe this means the red/gray flak will go on sale even more :) I have been holding out for a good deal on new backpack.

Kind of looks like an Ergo and a Grip had a baby. I think I prefer the look of the Flak3 a little better, and definitely would prefer the Flak3 storage space up top more than hanging a couple more discs in that space. Overall, it looks like a solid bag though.

This is a pretty sweet time to be on the hunt for a disc golf backpack though. So many options out or coming out soon. Awesome to have so many choices.

Really like what i'm seeing... still wish these style bags would have a square U zip flap on the front instead of a rounded U flap.. make it like Gorilla Boy how the flap velcros over top of the front putter pocket.

Looks pretty good. I like the vertical disc pockets I just wish they weren't zippered. I guess they kind of need to be if you aren't using them for a disc but I can't see using them for anything but that myself. With those the side disc pockets seem a little excessive but I could see using them all. Vertical for putters and side pockets for upshot or go to mids. I really have all the bags I need but I've got money to burn and have been eyeing the Ergo 2, Lat64 proto backpack, and now this. I'll be patient and see what wins out perhaps. I only use my Ranger for massive disc and extra storage. It's the bag I load up with discs I'm trying out and breaking in so only goes to the field with me. The soldier is now my summer all around bag and the L Frame Grip is tournament rounds and anything that I need on a day that isn't above 90 degrees. I would replace it if I found something better.

Like the versatility in the design, especially the straps behind the quiver area to store stuff. Also, that cursive HB logo is sharp. If I carried more discs I'd be all about it, but the capacity looks to be far more than I need.

How stiff are those sides/back area where it zips all the way up?

Is it an internal frame? Or plastic inserts?

Velcro up top where? the putter pocket has Velcro instead of zipper?

No. He's referring to the bottom of the top main storage compartment. The first runs of the Flak 3 used Velcro to support this area. Later runs have addressed this issue and now use zippers. Much more stable and the bottom doesn't fall through anymore when you have the top compartment loaded with stuff.

ah yes, I remember hearing/reading that when researching for my bag. I got the flak3 so that issue was addressed. Stuff it super FULL with no sag! :D
