Post a NOT cool disc golf photo

Not nearly as catastrophic as some of these pics, but this disc sure tried to hide in a small stream.

Pink discs rule!

Landing on top of the basket is the best you can at the Calumet Lake course!

This was by far the deepest one. I actually had to scrape snow off the top just to expose it. Most had snow well into the basket.
Chainstars in case you were wondering.
(this was from today)

sucks to be these kids.

they were throwing a lot of stuff at it (discs), but finally got it with a long piece of pvc & shoulder ride.

My local course is prone to flooding. We had nearly 4 inches in the span of a few hours the other night. This basket is at least 400 feet from the creek and about 100ft from a decorative pond (it has overflow drainage into creek but not from it).

BUT, with a couple more 100,000-degree days forecast for this week, it'll likely be back to skippy hardpan by Sunday.

So, did the debris get snagged in the basket when floodwaters were high or did some helpful soul cleanup the area after the flood and put all the trash in that funny-looking, wire-mesh trashcan.

Lots more flood damage at McCord coming to light, looks like 4-5 baskets are out of the ground. Even the trees by the playground are damaged enough they will have to pull them out.

This is probably the highest area of the park and the result of just over 3.5 inches of rain. The park bench still has debris washed up on it from the storm 3 days ago.

Correction, 6 baskets down. Looks like the shoreline to the creek has eroded closer to some pin placements, within 10 feet at some.
